For Gianduja Kiss, Festivids 2011/12
Made for the Vividcon 2006 auction for Par Avion, a simple look at some role-model female TV characters.
Colourful, silly, celebration of dance vid.
Filling in for a multi-editor project again. This time giving me an excuse to vid Noiseman.
The video I edited at Iron Chef, in 2 hours, with a program I'd never used before. It was hell and I didn't know the source footage well enough.
A parody video made for a panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta about the preparations for that year's Iron Chef contest.
This video was commissioned by ADV for their DVD release of the anime Noir. No special effects or distinctive digital manipulations could be used and no changes to the song choice or cut.
I had this video planned for ages and when I finally got around to making it I missed the Otakon deadline. Oh well, it went to AWA and was a big success!
Another gap filler for a multi-editor project. They don't get much shorter than this.
Part two of the Dinosaur Studios pretence. Works really well in a big audience.
Made as a joke. Deliberately pretentious attempt at baiting comments using sockpuppets. This is the film noir one.
Another situation where I was helping out a multi editor project. This time to a 4 minute song about Donald Duck. Ugh.
A critique of Rintaro's Metropolis and my first experiment with After Effects.
It makes sense if you know the show, honestly.
Really makes no sense without having seen both shows used.
I was asked at the last minute to do this particular track on the 2nd DDR Project. I agreed.
This video is a character profile of two characters from animations directed by Hideaki Anno done in the style of his post-Nadia work. As such, it's very stylised and not to everyone's taste. Despite being essentially an experimental video, it was very well received and is one of my favourites.
Created for the Mindwarp Entertainment Awards: Adult Video category so there would be enough entries to make it a valid category. I still laugh at the last clip. As in the show, very pantomime humour.
Made as a wedding gift for Marco and Christina of Turboneko Studios.
While doing various fansubs, I decided to give some visuals to the Evangelion Audio Drama. The translation was readily available on the internet but it was much more fun to watch it the way you would an episode. So using some really rudimentary Photoshop, I made effectively a slide show for the audio drama.
My first amv. Vaguely about the 'Wired' addiction in Serial Experiments Lain. Made to test out a Pinnacle DC30 capture card that we were using for fansubbing.
